About

I like to think skeptically and question everything.

I used to be a fundamentalist pastor who led anti-gay rallies. Then I changed my mind on everything. (You can read my journey, which was on the frontpage of Reddit, here: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, and Part 5.)

I am an advocate of evidence based healthcare, including vaccination (featured in Komo News, SlavicSac, Vox News, The Independent, this video interview with a million views.)

I am currently a data analyst in the healthcare industry.

I am the creator of PregNut.com

I used to microblog over at FactsAboutReligion

I love technology, science, psychology, history, & philosophy.

My interview with ChristianMegapolis

In 2016 I conducted an interview with a Russian newspaper that went viral in my community. You can read that here in both English & Russian.

Part 1 - Topics in this section include my childhood, how I began my ministry, my faith, why I became a reluctant atheist, and the reaction of my friends and family to my deconversion.

Part 2 - Topics in this section include: my views on why Christians believe, the exodus of young people leaving Christianity and their motives, the worst reason to leave Christianity, the status of Slavic immigrant churches, and how an atheist can have morals.

Part 3 - Responses to the most common criticisms, comments, and messages I received within weeks after the interview.

Part 4 - A reply to the criticisms of Christian author and apologist Viktor Manzhul.

Part 5/6 - A reply to the criticisms and concerns of Christian and biblical scholar Dr Victor Shlenkin.
