Can Religion & Politics Predict Wellbeing
Every year the UnitedHealth Foundation publishes Americas Health Rankings, a report that combines many variables to effectively measure well being. As I was looking at the report, I noticed some strange correlations, and decided to compare the measured wellbeing in a given region to its political and religious leanings. Now, certainly correlation does not necessarily imply causation, but this is an interesting starting point to begin to ask questions about how religion, politics and human wellbeing are linked together.
